Broncos Set for Local Derby

The Brisbane Broncos head down the M1 to face NRL ladder leaders the Titans in Friday night football in what shapes as one of the most highly anticipated south-east Queensland derbies in a number of years

After a disappointing loss at home to Parramatta last round the Broncos will be looking for a much improved performance against their local rivals.

The Titans have arguably one of the best forward packs in the competition consisting of Nate Myles, Greg Bird and big Dave Taylor, and will be out for revenge after losing both derby’s to the Broncos last season.

The Broncos have been boosted for the Titans clash with star centre Justin Hodges set to start having come off the bench in his return from an achilles injury last Friday night against the Eels.

Look for a big game from Broncos Fullback Ben Barba who is yet to stamp his class the competition in Broncos colours.
