How Cannon Logistics Keeps your food Fresh during Transport

As a Queensland based road freight company, a major part of our duty is to transport your food, safely and quickly. But how do we do it?

1. Temperate humidity control

How foods stay fresh for longer depends largely on temperature. For example, meats need to stay cold. Not only does this maintain freshness, but meat is full of protein, and bacteria loves protein. By maintaining a temperature of less than 4 degrees Celsius, the growth of bacteria is controlled.

Our temperature control systems are state of the art.

2. Correct pallet stacking

Cannon Logistics will not take any pallet that is not stacked properly. Incorrect packaging could present a danger for the food being damaged or destroyed. On our part, we make sure to place pallets acceptably within our trucks so that they will not be moving around during transit.

This way, we significantly reduced the risks of damage, breakage and bruising. So when your goods arrive, they’re in the same condition as they were when they left.

3. Efficient routes

Efficient routes reduce the time a product is in transit. Here at Cannon Logistics, we identify which routes work best and give way to quicker delivery times, without compromising the safety of our drivers or your products.

If you would like to learn more about our services and how we take care of your products during transit, call us on (07) 3396 8833 or contact us.
